Gwyneth Paltrow still cooks for her ex-husband Chris Martin, insisting the Coldplay rocker is always welcome at her table.
Promoting her new cookbook It's All Easy: Delicious Weekday Recipes for the Super-Busy Home Cook, the actress and food fan tells You magazine she loves to try new recipes on her family and friends - and Chris is one of her biggest fans.
"Of course I cook for him," she said. "Chris is always welcome at my house and I at his. We go on holidays together - it's all very relaxed."
Paltrow has dabbled with raw food diets and microbiotics, but she doesn't expect her kids, Apple and Moses, to follow her super-healthy food choices, revealing they scoff french fries and pizza.
"You can't tell them, 'No Coke, no cake'," she chuckled. "It is not realistic. Their favourite foods are pasta and french fries. It's about trying to augment that with something healthy."
Gwyneth reveals her daughter has started experimenting with food, but everything begins with pizza.
And the Oscar-winning Shakespeare in Love star, who has enjoyed success with past cookbooks and even a Spanish food show, admits she's not as strict when it comes to her own diet as she used to be, adding, "There's a lot of misinformation about what I actually eat... I really don’t have any rules.
"I don't believe you should rule out any kind of food. I believe in enjoying life. I'm not a good dieter and since I've had kids, I have loosened up a lot.
"My favourite bad food... is french fries. I would eat them at every meal if I could."
