Jennifer Aniston was unaware her "The Good Girl" co-star Jake Gyllenhaal had a crush on her on the set of the 2002 movie.

The stars played lovers in the film and Jake found working with Jennifer intimidating because he had already been a longtime admirer of hers.

"I had a crush on her for years and working with her was not easy," he told People.com. "I was - um, yeah. That's all I'm going to say. It was lovely. It wasn't hard, that's what I would say."

"(It wasn't) so much (because of her show) 'Friends', but kind of her personality from afar, and movies she was in and some of 'Friends' - I'm not a huge 'Friends' fan."

The 47-year-old enjoyed working with Jake as well, but she had no idea he felt the way he did, and was a little taken aback.

"That’s adorable...," she told news show Extra. "I wonder if he still does (have a crush on me)."

"I just don't know why we're finding this out now!" she told Access Hollywood. "He hid it well!"
