Volleyball star Gretchen Ho and former Pinoy Big Brother contestant Robi Domingo finally confirm that they have decided to go their separate ways.
The news, which was announced through a joint statement on Wednesday's Tonight with Boy Abunda episode, says that they have indeed broken up and that there is no third party.
According to reports, it was in January of this year when fans started to notice that the two have stopped posting photos of them together on their social media accounts. This fueled speculation that the couple had already broken up. Plus, Gretchen got a short lob, which made the public more curious if her new look was related to possible relationship trouble. (Trust us, women know.)
"There is too much happening for the both of us right now," Gretchen and Robi's statement read. "We have to focus on our careers. There is no appropriate time yet for a relationship to grow. But we're not closing our doors on each other in the future."
Amid the breakup rumors, Robi was also linked to former 2NE1 member and Pinoy Boyband Superstar judge, Sandara Park to which the latter clarified that they were just friends.
Gretchen has erased all traces of Robi on her Instagram, while Robi still has one lone photo of her.
Although both have been vocal about wanting to spend the rest of their lives together, they also shared that their respective careers are their top priority right now.
The Kapamilya hosts were together for three years before the breakup.
