Supermodel Gigi Hadid was left exposed on the runway on Friday after her breast popped out of her cutout Versace dress.
The 20-year-old beauty made her Milan Fashion Week debut modeling Donatella Versace’s designs, but one black evening gown proved to be a little loose as the neckline slipped down and left her bare boob on display.
Ever the professional, Gigi refused to let the mishap distract her from completing her catwalk turn, and Donatella didn’t seem too fazed either as she shared a happy high-five with the blonde at the end of the runway.
Gigi later took to Twitter.com to laugh off the incident.
“Wadrobe (sic) malfunctions happen on the runway every day of fw (fashion week) & are…unfortunate,lol (laugh out loud),” she wrote, “but let’s talk instead about the new VERSACE CHOKERS”.
Even though Gigi’s nip-slip wasn’t intentional, models are known for baring their breasts in the name of fashion. Her pal Kendall Jenner has frequently gone braless under sheer designs for runway shows, previously putting her breasts on display for Chanel Haute Couture and Marc Jacobs.
Meanwhile, Gigi isn’t the only Hadid to make headlines in the world of fashion. Her brother, Anwar, has also joined the family business after landing a contract with top agency IMG Models.
The 16-year-old’s big deal was announced last week, aligning him with the same agents who represent his sisters Gigi and Bella. IMG Models also boast Karlie Kloss and Lara Stone as clients, among many others.
The Hadids’ mother, producer David Foster’s estranged wife Yolanda, is also a former model.
