There is more to beauty queens than just beauty, and the 2014 Binibining Pilpinas winners up clued us in on their secrets on being the best version of themselves. Check out their secrets below!

1. Enhance your best features.

It's a known fact that beauty queens are naturally beautiful--and they also know how to highlight tehir best features! Laura Lehmman (Binibining Pilipinas 2014 1st Runner-up) reveals, "We have different features, so we were taught different makeup styles to suit our face."

2. It's not about not eating but eating the right food.

Bianca Guidotti (Binibining Pilipinas 2014 International) suggests, "We stay fit through a good diet. We avoid softdrinks. It's something we take for granted, but a small change like that shows on our skin. Less sugar really helps."

3. Never give up.

Mary Jean Lastimosa (Binibining Pilipinas 2014 Universe) is on cloud nine right now—having joined the pageant thrice (and getting defeated in the two previous years), her victory is definitely well-earned and long-awaited. "I prayed hard. It was a tough decision. I'm not a risk-taker, but now I can say I am. I'm grateful that I decided to join," she shares.

Laura and Hannah Ruth Sison (Binibining Pilipinas 2014 2nd Runner-up) were asked if they are considering to pull an 'MJ' next year. Laura answers promptly, "We already have an advantage of getting trained the Binibining way as the queens, and I can say for Hannah that we both have open minds about it. It’s one of the best batches, and I feel fortunate to be part of the top seven, especially for me as a first-timer. I was just watching before."

"It's actually my second time to join. I didn’t even place on top 15, so that’s a huge improvement. I'm not totally sad with what I have right now. I think it’s too early for me to decide on that; I still have one year to decide. For now, I’ll focus on my duties as second runner-up, but I'm not closing my doors. Actually, MJ’s story is quite inspiring, so we’ll see," Hannah adds.
