"Magiging mommy na ako!" Anne Curtis happily announced on It's Showtime. The actress-host made her first TV appearance on the noontime show, following her big pregnancy reveal on Instagram last Sunday, November 10.
"Erwan and I are very, very happy. Again, maraming salamat to everyone. The overflowing love talaga that we received after announcing yesterday—naiiyak ako. Sobra lang akong emotional—maraming salamat for the love, madlang people na binigay ninyo sa akin at sa asawa kong si Erwan and for my little one."
The soon-to-be mom, who is five months pregnant, shared that it was nice to keep the "little secret" between herself and Erwan for a while.
Anne shared, "It's been quite the journey. We decided na i-keep lang talaga sa amin ni Erwan. Kami lang talaga nakaka alam just because we wanted to keep the baby for us muna and it was really such a nice journey. Medyo nahirapan din kami nung una pero ang galing din kasi hindi din muna siya nagpakita masyado. Pero it was nice just to share with Erwan and I. It was our little secret. Now, we're ready to share it with the whole world,"
Anne's co-hosts on the noontime show each shared a touching message to the expecting mom, including her hubby Erwan Heussaff himself through a video. "Hey love, I'm sorry I couldn't make it on Showtime today. I'm currently setting up a shoot. I just wanted to say hello to everyone and I'm excited to go on this journey with you. I think we're gonna kill it.
"I can't wait to be a father to your child, and you, a mother to my child. I love you," Erwan said.
Anne replied: "Thank you so much, mon amour. And I'm just as excited to go on this journey with you. Super akong kinakabahan but I know that we can do this together as we become parents to our little one. I love you, je t'aime, mon amour. I’m very very excited too,"
Anne and Erwan are celebrating their second anniversary today, November 12.
