Ladies, Emma Stone is getting married!
The actress’ now-fiancé Saturday Night Live writer and segment director Dave McCary made the exciting announcement through Instagram.
In the slightly blurry couple selfie, Emma excitedly shows off her new rock, a charming, imperfectly-shaped engagement ring with a diamond on the center.
In a report by Who What Wear, Olivia Landau, a fourth-generation gemologist and founder and CEO of The Clear Cut, shares that Emma's unique ring style happens to be a growing trend in the U.S. "Antique diamonds like old mine cuts and old European cuts have become extremely popular. They are distinct for their chunkier facets, steep crown angle, small table and the presence of a culet.
"What people love about antique diamonds are that no two are the same, they have a very charming faceting pattern and sparkle."
According to People, the couple met in 2016, when Emma starred in a sketch on SNL, which Dave directed.
Prior to her relationship with Dave, the actress dated her Amazing Spider-Man co-star Andrew Garfield.
