After several changes, the cast members for the remake of the hit ‘80s film Temptation Island have been finalized. PEP.ph reports that the four stars of Temptation Island will be Marian Rivera (to play the role originally portrayed by Azenith Briones), Heart Evangelista (Dina Bonnevie), Solenn Heussaff (Bambi Arambulo), and Lovi Poe (Jennifer Cortez). Earlier this week, news broke out that Heart had backed out off the project because she didn’t want to do sexy scenes, but she denied the rumors in an interview on Tweetbiz Insiders. With the minor mishap over, it’s all systems go for Temptation Island. Shooting begins in April, and the four girls are eager to start. Marian revealed that all of them knew how memorable the original film was to viewers, but they were not attempting to copy it in its entirety. “Di naman porke ganun yung dati ay gagayahin naming lahat. Siguro yung mga eksena, mga line, siguro nandun pa rin kasi nandun yung punchlines, e (Just because the old one is like that, it doesn't mean we're going to copy everything. We'll follow some of the scenes and lines because that's where the punchlines lie)," she is quoted as saying on PEP.ph.
