It’s widely known that Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera have been a couple both on- and offscreen for quite some time. However, after actor Paolo Contis’ split from his wife Lian Paz recently made showbiz headlines, Dingdong’s name was dragged into the controversy when rumors accused him of accompanying Paolo to chase other women.

However, when asked about the issue, Dingdong vehemently denied that he was seeing someone else aside from Marian, describing the issue as “baloney.”

“These are malicious speculations,” he was quoted as saying in an article by PEP.ph. “I’m confident that I’m happy with my relationship and there’s no reason na gawin ko 'yun (I’m confident that I’m happy with my relationship and there’s no reason for me to do that.).”

This is the latest rumor to hit the high-profile couple, who have been with each other for almost four years. The two have so far been successful in balancing their respective careers and their love life. Though they haven't yet made plans for the future, Dingdong says that he is very happy with Marian at the moment.

“I am very happy with my relationship with Marian right now, which leaves no room, even with a dust of possibility, for a malicious story like that to happen,” the actor maintains.
