It was in November of last year when a photo of Ellen Adarna and Baste Duterte kissing went viral, and now, the FHM cover girl has finally admitted that she and Baste were indeed an item—but also that they already broke up last year.

In a photo of musician Rico Blanco that Ellen shared on Instagram, a netizen posted a "Team Baste" comment, to which the actress replied that they're no longer together.

"Hindi na po kami. 2016 pa po yun. Bagong taon na. At para manahimik na tayong lahat," Ellen wrote.

The pair stirred romance rumors all of last year due to their closeness, but according to the statement of Baste Duterte's management team to PEP.ph, the celebrities they handle "are entitled to be close to any person they chose to. As for Baste, he is not married and he doesn’t label his relationships."
