Just when you thought that true love can still exist in Hollywood, another couple is heading to splitsville.
After being together for 12 years, Angelina Jolie has filed for a divorce from Brad Pitt, citing irreconcilable differences. According to Page Six, Angelina is filing for a separation after finding out from a private investigator that her husband had an affair with French actress Marion Cotillard. “She hired a private eye because she felt that he was fooling around with her on the set, and it turns out, he was. And that was the final straw,” says the source.

The private investigator also found out that Pitt partied like he was a single man. “The atmosphere [off-set] was full of hard drugs and Russian hookers, and Angie was told Brad got caught up in it,’’ the source said. “He’s in the throes of some insane midlife crisis, and Angie is fed up,” it added. According to TMZ, another reason for the split is because of Brad’s substance abuse and consumption of alcohol.
The couple met on the set while filming the movie Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005. She is reportedly also fighting for the physical custody of her six children.
