Kathryn Bernardo said that no big words are needed for her to describe the moment she knew that Daniel Padilla is serious about her.
“Na-feel ko na totoo na 'to, basta pinagtanggol niya ako nun,” said Kathryn during a joint interview with Daniel on Tonight With Boy Abunda last night, April 11.
Kathryn said that her family and friends have approved of Daniel from the very start. She elaborated, “Tapos, after nun, nakita ko seryoso na siya.
“Pumupunta siya sa bahay. Ginagawa niya yung meeting the family.
“Dun ko na-realize na hindi lahat ginagawa yun. So, dun nagsimula.”
Daniel, for his part, admitted that his feelings for Kathryn grew over time.
He recalled, “Nagkakakilala naman kami ni Kathryn dahil sa audition. Nagkasama kami sa Growing Up.
“Siguro nag-grow na lang din.
“Parang yung mga eksena, kulang na yun sa akin para makausap si Kathryn.”
Talking about how they are as a couple, Daniel admitted that he’s the type who’d let Kathryn win over a game of chess. Then Kathryn said that Daniel’s best asset is “siya yung pinakamaalagang tao na kilala ko.”
Asked about Kathryn’s plan for Daniel’s birthday on April 26, she answered, “Gusto niyang mag-beach, so beach ulit. Let’s go!”
In their September 2016 PEPtalk for PEP.ph, the couple admitted that they love treating each other to out-of-town trips.
