Many have been wondering about the possibility of Kapamilya stars Daniel Matsunaga and Arci Muñoz coupling up, largely due to the fact that both stars are recently single and have been spending time together on their reality competition program I Can Do That.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Daniel Matsunaga admits that he’s getting closer with the 28-year old actress “For now we’re friends, good friends. I’m really enjoying her company, super nice, sobrang bait, she is different, very true to herself,” he says.
Sadly, the two can’t date anyone in particular right now, as Arci shared being single was stated in the contract they signed. “Kailangan six months kaming single. Apat kaming pumirma doon. Kasama po si Dandan kaya hindi po kami puwede talaga,” Arci says in an interview.
They both want to focus on their work first and Daniel says that he’s leaving it up to God. “We’re just enjoying work for now. Let’s see in God’s time. Yes, tama, she’s free, she doesn’t have a boyfriend.”
It was early this year when rumors about DanRich’s breakup spread like wild fire and in an interview last February, Erich confirmed that they have indeed split up. “We are not together anymore. It’s over. To be honest po, ayaw ko po sanang mag-detalye. I just want to move on. Hindi po kami nag-uusap. It’s not true that we are talking. Hindi po kami magkaibigan,” she said.
Meanwhile, it was also during the start of the year when Arci admitted that she and Brunei prince’s son, Badi del Rosario were not an item anymore.
“Una sa dinami-dami nangyari sa life ko, so maybe I need to focus muna sa isang bagay. Ito malaking --napakaganda opportunity na dumarating. Siyempre, I don’t wanna miss out on that. Pero ang tagal ko din naman kaya pagsabayin both [relationship and work] pero ayon, we’ll see,” she said.
“I admit namin talaga na sa time ko rin kasi, I don’t want to be unfair with him. Although he’s very supportive. Malay niyo naman maayos --ang tagal ko kasing hindi naging single. Ganoon pala iyong feeling, hindi ko na alam.”
