Actress Cristine Reyes says that there’s no truth to the rumors that she and her boyfriend, actor Rayver Cruz, have already split up. She added that she has no idea why such rumors are circulating, since they're always together.

“Kasama ko lang siya kahapon. Hindi ko nga maintindihan kung bakit may lumalabas pang ganun, eh lagi naman kaming nakikitang magkasama,” she was quoted as saying in an article by Interaksyon.com. “Recently, magkasama naman kami sa Tagaytay. Nagluto kami dun kasama ang mga pamangkin ko (I was just with him yesterday. I don't understand why these rumors still come out when we're always seen together. Recently, we were in Tagaytay. We cooked there with my nephews and nieces.),” she said during a product event held last August 21.

Cristine had also disagreed with Rayver’s supposed confession that he can’t live without her. “Hindi naman totoo ‘yun na hindi kakayanin ng isang taong mabuhay pag may hindi niya kasama,” she said. “Hindi naman ganun ang takbo ng buhay (It's not true that one person can't live if he's not with someone. That's not how life works.)”

She may have been very open about her love life, but she wasn’t as forthcoming when asked about her relationship with her sister, actress Ara Mina, who had filed a libel case against her. “I’d rather not comment about it,” she simply said.

Despite her family issues, Cristine’s outlook in life still remains optimistic. “Basta ‘yang mga issue, para sa kin kailangan mo lang silang hayaan (We just have to let these issues be.). Kasi worrying too much won’t solve the problem. You just need to go on with your life .”
