Actress Cristine Reyes said she is very excited to start working on Reputasyon, a new soap opera to be shown on ABS-CBN, because she will be starring with real-life boyfriend Rayver Cruz in the TV series.In an interview with PEP.ph, Christine said that she loves the idea of working alongside Rayver as it will let them see more of each other. "Happy ako siyempre kasi magkikita kami sa taping, katrabaho ko siya, di na kami mahihirapan sa time kasi magkikita kami regularly (I'm very happy because we'll get to see each other during tapings and we won't have to struggle with time)."
But she is also quick to dismiss the possibility of their personal life getting in the way of work. Christine says, "Di namin pinagsasama ang personal sa trabaho. Sa akin kasi, tulong pa nga siya kasi... pag nagbo-bore ka na, siyempre magdamagan yun, masarap pag may kausap (We don't mix our personal and professional lives. In fact being with him [Rayver] at work will be helpful because I'll have someone to talk to when I get bored)."
While Christine was overjoyed with the idea of seeing Rayver on a more regular basis, she also expressed her feelings about working with more established actors and actresses like Jaclyn Jose, saying, "Siyempre nandun yung kaba kasi nga, mga beterano na sila (Of course I'm a little bit nervous because they are big names in the industry)."
But Christine isn't fazed and says that she started to lose her nervousness after working with them a bit. "Pag nakatrabaho mo na sila, magka-eksena na kayo, may bonding na. OK na, nawawala na yung kaba (After you've worked with them and shared scenes with them, you start to form a bond. The nerves start to go away)."
