Coco Martin has put a stop to rumors that he is wooing actress Shaina Magdayao by showering her with presents.
“Kung ako ang tatanungin kung liligawan ko si Shaina? Siguro not this time. Kasi parang hindi ko maibibigay 'yung oras o tamang [gawain] para sa isang relasyon. Kasi sabi ko nga, ako sa sarili ko, halos wala akong time. Pero darating din tayo diyan (If I were to be asked about my intentions to court Shaina, I would say that maybe now's not the right time. I don't think I have the time for a relationship. Like I said, I almost don't have time for myself. But we’ll get there),” the 31-year-old actor was quoted as saying in an interview with Push.com.ph.
Coco adds that he's not in a rush to settle down, as he would rather focus on his career at the moment.
“Ayaw kong madaliin [na magpamilya] kasi nanggaling ako sa wala at alam ko na hindi lahat ng tao ay nabibigyan ng ganitong opportunity... Kasi ngayon parang hindi natin prioridad na parang gusto nating tumahimik o mag-settle. Hindi ba mas iniisip natin ngayon 'yung future natin? (I'm not in a hurry to settle down because I know that not everyone is given this kind of opportunity. I think settling down and living a quiet life aren't my top priorities at the moment. Shouldn't we be thinking more about securing our future first?)?”
