PEP.ph reports that Dessa Cadelario Patilan, Claudine Barretto’s personal assistant (PA) whom the actress had accused of stealing P8.5 million worth of expensive jewelry and other valuables from her in May, has filed a complaint on September 11 against her former employer for allegedly taking P13,550 worth of her personal belongings.

According to Dessa’s sworn affidavit, the actress, who was accompanied by the police, reportedly went through Dessa’s wallet, which contained P10,700 (her savings from her salary as a PA). The actress allegedly pocketed P10,000 and gave Dessa P700, telling her, “Ayan, panggastos mo (Here, for your expenses.).”

Claudine also took an electronic tablet worth P3,000 that contained a four-gigabyte memory card worth P500, as well as the sim card (worth P50) from Dessa’s phone. Dessa claims she was not able to defend herself as she was frightened by the police who accompanied Claudine.

In the case she had filed, Dessa is asking Claudine to pay P13,550 for the damages to her belongings, P50,000 for moral damages, P50,000 for exemplary damages, as well as laywer and court fees.
