Claudine Barretto is not someone who takes things lying down. In her Twitter account, the actress said, “hay Sum LAWYERS sobrang Feeling talaga. Abusado na Bastos pa (Some lawyers really think they're all that. They're busive and rude).”

PEP.ph was able to contact Claudine’s legal counsel Atty. Ferdinand Topacio regarding the matter. In a text message, the lawyer said, “We wish to state that our office continues to represent Ms. Claudine Barretto.”

“We also confirm that we have received reports of rude and uncouth behavior outside of the courtroom by a lawyer representing the other party.”

While the identity of the lawyers Claudine was pertaining to has yet to be revealed, Atty. Topacio has issued this statement: “We shall deal with that to the fullest extent of the law.

“We want to send this clear message to the adverse party: do not mess with our client in an inappropriate manner, for we will go after you as far as the law will allow.”
