While Asia’s Pop Idol Christian Bautista was in Iloilo for a show, burglars entered his house in San Juan and made off with P200,000 in cash as well as expensive watches, ABS-CBNNews.com reports. Christian discovered the burglary upon his return. "Napansin ko na 'yong pinakataas na floor nakabukas na ‘yong gate, sira ‘yong bintana. Akalo ko bagyo lang or something, pero pagtingin ko sa kwarto, magulo na ‘yong kwarto, nanakaw na ‘yong ibang mga pera tsaka ‘yong mga relo. (I noticed the gate on the top floor was open. The window was also broken. I thought it was just a typhoon or something, but when I looked inside the room, I realized it was a mess. Some of the money had been taken, as well as some watches),” he is quoted as saying.
Instead of dwelling on the negative, Christian is just thankful that everyone is safe. He is currently tightening security in his home, including changing locks and adding other security measures.
