Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero, who is known to be very private when it comes to his personal life, has finally admitted that he and actress Heart Evangelista are in a relationship, says a report on ABS-CBNNews.com.

During his last co-hosting stint on the ABS-CBN talk show KrisTV on October 5, the senator was asked by host Kris Aquino if Heart was his girlfriend, to which he replied, “I would like to think so, yes.”

The couple had been seen together frequently since Heart broke up with Brazilian-Japanese model Daniel Matsunaga in April. The two earlier denied their relationship, with Heart saying previous interviews that she and Chiz were still “getting to know each other.”

Chiz also shared that he is hoping that he and Heart would be able to celebrate “anniversaries” in the future. The senator’s children, who were with him on the set, likewise said that they adore Heart.
