Cherry Pie Picache says she admires her co-stars Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador for maintaining their professionalism on the set of their show Ina Kapatid Anak even if Gerald Anderson, who is Kim’s ex-boyfriend, had started going out with Maja, who is one of Kim’s closest friends.

“I’m very amazed with the two girls, they’re very professional, very committed,” she was quoted by PEP.ph as saying. “Well, we know that things aren’t going well, hindi ba? It can be better, but in time, I’m sure maaayos din naman nila iyon. Pero iyon nga, kahit ganoon ang sitwasyon, I’m very amazed with the two of them. Tapos, nakakabilib, kasi sobra yung commitment nila sa trabaho nila, yung pagiging professional nila. Wala, walang aberya, masaya kaming lahat actually sa set—maayos, masaya ang set namin (Well, we know that things aren’t going well, right? It can be better, but in time, I’m sure they’ll be able to fix it. But even if they’re in that situation, I’m very amazed with the two of them. And it’s impressive because they’re really committed to their work, they’re very professional. There’s no trouble on the set, we’re actually all happy on the set—our set’s a happy, organized one.).”

Though Cherry Pie admits that there is still tension between the two actresses on the set, she says they don’t let their rift get in the way of their responsibilities.

“Hindi ba, hindi naman maiiwasan iyon?” she had asked, referring to the issue. “Pero ang maganda, they have their commitment, their responsibilities doon sa show at sa lahat ng taong bumubuo ng Ina Kapatid Anak. And it’s amazing… Siguro ay mahirap for all of us, lalo na sa kanila. But basta, ano lang sila, trabaho lang (Isn’t that impossible to avoid? But what’s nice is that they have their commitment, their responsibilities to the show and to everyone who’s a part of Ina Kapatid Anak. And it’s amazing…Maybe it’s hard for all of us, especially for them. But it’s just work for them.).”
