Hollywood heartthrob Channing Tatum has been named the Sexiest Man Alive for 2012 by People magazine, beating other noteworthy hunks like Chris Hemsworth, Ben Affleck, and Bradley Cooper. However, the Magic Mike star, who is married to actress Jenna Dewan, admitted that his initial reaction to the news was disbelief.

"My first thought was, 'Y'all are messing with me,'" Channing was quoted as saying in an article on People magazine. "I told Jenna after we'd been in the bathtub washing our dogs because they'd gotten skunked. She was like, 'What?'…She calls me [the Sexiest Man Alive] now."

While Jenna appreciates her husband’s new title, she also affirms that there is more to Channing than his physique. "People know him to be fun and sexy, but they don't know how emotionally deep and spiritually open he is," she said. "He is such an open-hearted person; what you see is what you get."

People also reports that this Hollywood hunk is looking forward to being a father. "I'm ready; I think she's ready. The first number that pops into my head is three, but I just want one to be healthy and then we'll see where we go after that."
