Cesar Montano insists that he is doing everything he could to save his marriage to his estranged wife, actress Sunshine Cruz, after being linked earlier this year to starlet Krista Miller.
“From day one of the trouble… from day one, 'nandun ang intensiyon ko until today. 'Nandun 'yun but, of course, it’s been a while, pero hindi pa naman ako titigil, nandidito ako para sa kanya (That has always been my intention from day one until today. It’s there, but, of course, it’s been a while, but I won’t stop, I’ll always be here for her),” he was quoted as saying in an interview on PEP.ph, adding that he misses “everything” about his wife.
Cesar also denied that they are already taking steps to annul their marriage.
“Wala kaming dini-discuss na 'ganun (We never discussed that),” he said. “Katulad ng sinabi ko (Like I said), I’m very positive and optimistic about it, about our relationship.”
“Right now ang ginagawa ko, I don’t rush things, e,” he continued, saying that he is waiting for Sunshine to be comfortable again with him before they can talk about repairing the rift between them. “Gusto ko rin makita niya na kumportable na siya. Gusto ko sa kanya na rin manggaling na okay na (Right now, what I’m doing, I don’t rush things. I want her to see that she’s comfortable. I want her to say that we’re okay.).”
