Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has officially arrived in her New York City apartment to start her Miss U duties! Posting on Instagram, Catriona shared a snap of the place which included a rose-filled vase, her Miss Universe sash, and greeting cards. "Someone pinch me! In my new home for the next year," she wrote.

While the Miss Universe website does not mention the prizes for the 2018 competition, in previous years, the winners have been treated to "luxury accommodations in a New York City apartment for the duration of her reign, including living expenses."
In a report by The National featured on Esquire Philippines, it was stated that as Miss Universe, Catriona will have "extensive trips representing sponsors and charitable partners of the organization in order to fulfill her duties and to advance her advocacies. Gray has repeatedly highlighted education focusing on children and the youth as her personal advocacy throughout the competition.
"She will also have the opportunity to beef up her portfolio, as she will be granted access to various events including casting opportunities, movie premieres, screenings, Broadway shows, and launch parties. The new Miss Universe will also take part in modeling photoshoots by leading fashion photographers.
"On top of this, Gray will also receive a one-year supply of beauty products, a full shoe wardrobe from Chinese Laundry Shoes and Accessories, skin and healthcare products, and a personal appearance wardrobe and styling by the official Miss Universe Organization fashion stylist."
