After headlining two successful films, 100 Tula Para Kay Stella and The Day After Valentine's, Bela Padilla and JC Santos' next project together is a teleserye under Dreamscape productions.
The drama's working title is Mea Culpa and also stars Tony Labrusca, Kit Thompson, Ketchup Eusebio, Janice de Belen, and Ayen Laurel, among others. Mea Culpa will be shown in ABS-CBN and will be directed by Andoy Ranay and Dan Villegas. (via ABS-CBN)
While this marks their third pairing, Bela and JC have previously revealed that they're hesitant about being called a love team. “I feel like I really went past the window for entering a love team. Ang nakikita ko na love teams ngayon puro bata, e," Bela said at the previous press conference of their movie, The Day After Valentine's, as reported by PEP.ph.
"I really think that JC and I, after this movie, we'll still have our individual careers. Kasi, we pursue different needs as well, we do other things on the side.
“JC also does theater. Ako, I love writing. Hopefully, we don't confine into a love team.
“I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it, parang sa personality naming dalawa, parang hindi po kailangan.”
