Bea Alonzo has admitted in the October 2012 issue of The Buzz Magazine that she and her boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo recently went to Hong Kong together. However, though she said in an earlier interview that she’s happy in her relationship with the actor, she fiercely denied the rumor that they got married there.

"D'yos ko! Doon pa ba kami sa Hong Kong magpapakasal? Doon lang kami sa ano, sa night market nagpunta. Sa night market kami nagpakasal? Ang pangit naman 'pag doon. Napaka-unromantic naman (My God! Why would we get married in Hong Kong? We just went to the night market. We got married at the night market? That's really unromantic!)!" Bea was quoted as saying in an article by ABS-CBNNews.com.

Bea also clarified that their trip was their gift for themselves. "Kaming dalawa, para sa aming dalawa. Sabay kaming ano, parang break, so nagpunta kami roon (It’s for the two us. We had our break together, so we went there)," she explained.
