Bea Alonzo has found new passion and even went back to school to fully explore it.
The First Love actress successfully finished a short course in Baking and Pastry Arts at CCA Manila over the weekend.
To celebrate the occasion, the ABS-CBN actress hosted a special graduation dinner for her close circle of loved ones.
Bea whipped up a five-course meal that concluded with a tiered cake she baked herself.
The Kapamilya star has promised to herself that this year, when she turned 30, she would "learn new things and try to be out of [her] comfort zone."
Apart from exploring new genres in her acting career, Bea opened new possibilities for herself by learning a new set of skills.
Bea wrote on Instagram, "It has always been in my bucket list to learn baking but being intimidated by the idea that in order to be good at it, one must be precise and dedicated.
"I never really got my head around pursuing it.
"But this year, I promised myself that I will do things that [intimidate or scare] me...
"So, I enrolled and had the best time of my life. I felt like a kid again learning a new skill."
"It made me feel good that I was enriching myself with new knowledge and also gaining new friends in the process.
"It is NEVER too late to pursue new things.
"I am so glad I did it."
Bea began her short course in Baking and Pastry Arts at CCA Manila on August 2.
