In a phone interview with PEP.ph, Bangs talked about her first trimester. Unlike most pregnant women, Bangs Garcia feels very lucky to be having an easy pregnancy so far.
"I really don't have cravings...I got nauseous pero lagi lang akong naduduwal.
"It was not that bad. Hindi ako yung nagsusuka talaga nang grabe."
One of the things she's grateful for is having a very supportive husband, Lloydi Birchmore. "Mas excited pa siya kaysa sa akin," she shared.
Now 14 weeks pregnant, Bangs said she maintains a happy vibe.
"Sabi daw nga nila, masayahin daw akong pregnant, hindi ako grumpy, and then lahat sila nagsasabi na blooming."
While people around her have been saying she's going to have a baby girl, Bangs thinks otherwise.
"Ang instinct ko naman, my instinct tells me na it's a boy."
She and her hubby actually had dreams about having a baby boy.
The actress recalled, "I have [had] three dreams na, last year, dalawang dreams na boy 'tapos just a month ago, nagka-dream ako ulit na boy.
"Boy talaga ang gusto namin muna para may kuya."
They also want to have fraternal twins.
"Sa next, gusto namin twins na boy and girl."
Set to leave for London early this week, the couple managed to do a "baby announcement shoot" with Nice Print Photography.
Can you spot the baby bump?
Among the first to know was her non-showbiz best friend, who thought Bangs was just joking.
Laughing, she narrated, "Akala nga ng best friend ko, kasi March 31 namin nalaman yung balita, akala niya April Fools [joke].
"Kasi 'di ba sakto na pang-April fools."
On a more serious note, she added, "Actually, we really couldn't believe it kasi nga dalawang beses kaming nag-try na nag-negative.
"In God's time talaga."
How does she picture herself as a mom?
"Magiging talagang overprotective mom ako.
"Kapag hinahawakan ni Lloydi yung tummy ko, bigla kong inaano [inaalis] yung kamay niya, automatic siya na pinoprotektahan ko yung tummy ko.
"Sabi ko, 'I think it's a sign na I'm gonna be an overprotective mom.'"
The 30-year-old soon-to-be mom continued, "Innate na kasi sa 'kin yung mother's instinct.
"Kahit na kami sa barkada, lagi na akong sinasabihan ng mga kabarkada ko na para daw akong mommy kasi mahilig ako yung, basta inaalagaan ko sila.
"Lagi akong nagluluto for them, thoughtful talaga ako, innate na sa akin."
On her husband, Bangs has no doubt that "he's gonna be the best dad ever."
She said, "Kasi pareho kaming mahilig sa bata, sobrang perfect talaga."
Their child will also be welcomed by his/her excited grandma and grandpa.
"Super magiging suwerte yung anak namin kasi first apo nga ng mom and dad niya [Lloydi], and then sobrang bait ng in-laws ko."
On Bangs's side, the baby will be the fourth apo.
Bangs is expected to give birth in the United Kingdom this December 2017.
