GMA Films president Annette Gozon-Abrogar has declined to comment about the grave coercion, perjury, and libel cases that Sarah Lahbati recently filed against her, saying that she would rather face the actress’s allegations in court.
"... I had hoped that the issues between Sarah and myself would be left with the courts (which is the proper venue to determine the truth)," she was quoted as saying in an article on PEP.ph.
"Much as I had hoped that the issues between Sarah and myself would be left with the courts (which is the proper venue to determine the truth), I was surprised that someone already gave PEP a copy of the complaints to be published. As a matter of fact, my lawyers and I haven't even received the copies of the complaints yet," she added.
However, the network executive said that she is willing to clear up the issue once she goes under oath.
"It behooves me now to correct the lies and misleading statements she made," Annette had continued. "I will answer and correct her statements in detail but I want to do it under oath when I file my answer."
