Anne Curtis temporarily left her daily noontime show, It's Showtime, on May 23. The actress-TV host said it was to pursue a dream but refused to divulge any details. On her official Twitter account, @annecurtissmith, the star finally spilled the beans.

On June 6, she linked to a photo of a "Missing" poster with her on it. She then started re-tweeting her followers' comments on the poster before eventually posting a tweet the next day saying, "Blood Ransom. Coming soon," along with a link to a Facebook page about the movie.

Apparently, Anne is currently in the US shooting for the film Blood Ransom, which is directed by Filipino-American Francis dela Torre. The director also made Subject: I Love You, a film, which starred Kapamilya actor Jericho Rosales.

On June 7, she tweeted, "On my way to the set! Looks like its going to be another long night! I'm always so excited though! #BloodRansom." In a separate tweet, she revealed that her character's name was Crystal.

Blood Ransom also stars actor Alexander Doetsch and young actress Emily Skinner. It is scheduled for release in 2013 and is reportedly a crime thriller.
