Did Anne Curtis's alleged confrontation with Sam Concepcion really happen or not?

So, in case you're lagging behind your celeb chismis, here's a quick summary of the incident. PEP.ph broke the news on Anne Curtis's alleged verbal assault on her sister's rumored boyfriend, Sam Concepcion, at a recent event. Both parties have denied the incident ocurred, but it seems a new development is now underway.

PEP.ph just released a follow-up report on the issue, based on Pilipino Star's article on Anne's side of the story. It was written by Salve de Asis, Viva's publicist (which manages Anne's career).

According to Salve's reliable source, Anne never said, "Why are you here? Who invited you? You are not [even] classy enough to be here!" She also denied the bashing of the actress on Sam's car. What she assured was that Anne pointed out Sam's alleged cheating habits.

Philippine Star's Ricky Lo also released an article, citing a reliable source close to Anne. "I talked to Anne, and she was honest enough to say that all she did was ask Sam why her sister is having a problem with him. But Anne denied having said to Sam all the things that came out in the news and social media. Sabi pa nga ni Anne, ‘After what happened [at another bar involving John Lloyd Cruz’s group], I’m not crazy to commit the same thing again... "Anne was just being protective toward her younger sister,’" the source was quoted as saying.

Until now, Sam's camp hasn't released an official statement. But Ricky spoke to person close to Sam, "No, he wasn’t crying, although mangiyak-ngiyak siya dahil napahiya siya."

Abante Tonite's Jun Lalin also wrote that the two just talked in private, as Anne reportedly pulled Sam aside to talk in one corner. He emphasized that the actress wasn't drunk.

However, PEP.ph's three source deny that the 'private talk' ever happened, as they described Anne as "drunk" and "loud." Anne's It's Showtime co-workers were reported to have even consoled Sam after the confrontation.

A third source also told PEP.ph that Sam was in shock when Anne started talking. "Sam was totally clueless. He was surprised. He was at a loss for words when Anne began talking," the source said.

“Sam really loves Jasmine, and all these reports about 'selosan' and 'pambababae' is not the main issue.

"This is about Anne’s behavior that night. Sana huwag nilang gawing masama si Sam. Walang ginagawang masama si Sam. Ang pananahimik niya ay para protektahan sila."
