2012 was a good time for Anne Curtis, and she’s excited to make 2013 as great as the year that was. Still, she said she’s not pressuring herself to outdo her past accomplishments.

“I’m claiming that 2013 will be a very good year,” she was quoted as saying in an article on Inquirer.net. “Deadma na lang to my detractors and to negative vibes (I'll just ignore my detractors and the negative vibes.). If a project clicks, that would be cherry on top. If it doesn’t, I’ll just have to strive harder.”

Anne also hopes to do a bigger repeat of her concert, Annebisyosa. “If I could do a repeat of my concert, I hope to fill up the Mall of Asia Arena the way I did Smart Araneta. Itutuloy ko ang pagtayo ng bandera ng mga nonsingers like me who love to sing (I'll continue standing up for nonsingers like me who love to sing.).”

When asked about her success secrets, Anne replied that she constantly tries to change things up. “I just keep reinventing myself,” she said. “I’m lucky that I now have a say in the roles that I play and in the script.”

Anne also gushed about the state of her love life, saying that she has “never been happier” with her boyfriend, Erwan Heussaff. “We’ve been together for three years and we’re going strong,” she said. “Like any couple, we fight but not to the point of breaking up. He’s the boyfriend I’ve been with the longest, with no on-and-off periods. I guess it comes with maturity.”

Still, it might be a long time before we start hearing wedding bells ringing for the couple.

“If Erwan asks me to marry him and I feel the time is right, I’ll go for it,” Anne said. “But we’re not rushing; we still have many dreams to fulfill.”
