On November 2011, Anne Curtis had lashed out at one of her followers who had referred to her mother as a “Pinay maid” and her father as an “Aussie loser guy,” saying that her detractors can say all they want about her, but she will fight back when her family’s reputation is at stake.

"Ako talaga, if it's about me, okay lang, I won't make patol, block mo na lang 'yun eh. But if you say anything about my sister, or my mother, or my father even, papatulan talaga kita (If it’s about me, it’s okay, I wouldn’t mind so much since I can block them anyway. But if you say anything about my sister, or my mother, or my father even, I’ll really fight)," the actress was quoted by ABS-CBNNews.com during a recent press conference.

However, PEP.ph reports that her basher, who goes under the handle @dudeinterrupted, inadvertently revived his feud with the actress when he pointed out that his account was not deleted, contrary to Anne’s claim. “Nothing wrong with Pinay maids noh, why the shame? Love yew dahl!” he recently posted.

Anne responded with a series of tweets by clarifying that her mother has never been a maid.

“Well hello you. We meet again. But don't worry i come in peace. Just to clarify once again my mother was never a maid. In fact if ever she was i would be proud and would not hide it in embarrassment at all,” she had replied. “She may not have come from a well off family but she never ashamed of her roots and took all of us to visit where she grew up. So you can say whatever you want. I wont fight you BUT i will clarify.. She is after all my mother and I dont appreciate people who disrespect her. You'd probably do the same. Anyway, Now that is clear. I hope you will please stop saying false things about my mother. Thank you. :)”

As a response, Dudeinterrupted posted another tweet. “That's what you get for being 3rd world famous, your business is not only yours anymore. Its EVERBODY's! And that includes Le D noh. Besos!” the post read.

“Anne Curtis-Smith fans #pathetic. Sorry will not stood down to your level.. #clown #cheap... BTW, my twitter my rule..” @khatieness, another basher, was reported by PEP.ph to have posted.
