Anne Curtis can’t help but be enthusiastic about her new movie, A Secret Affair. She’s particularly proud of her confrontation scenes with Andi Eigenmann, who plays Anne’s rival in the film.

“Abangan ninyo 'yung pasabog na eksena namin ni Andi. Maloloka kayo (Wait for the explosive scenes I shot with Andi. You’ll go wild),” Anne was quoted as saying in an article on Push.com.ph.

Anne also gushed about Andi’s acting prowess, saying that the movie will be a major milestone in the younger actress’ career.

“She’s a gem. She will shine in this movie,” Anne proclaimed. “I am so happy na ginawa niya. Mahusay siyang artista. Magle-level up siya dito. Ang ganda niya, ang galing niya umarte (I am so happy she did it. She’s a great artist. She’ll step up to the next level because of this. She’s beautiful, she’s a talented actress.). In this movie she will become a woman.”

Anne adds that she doesn’t mind if Andi steals the spotlight away from her in the movie. “Oo naman. I am very open. Kaya nga I told Andi, ‘Girl, you will shine in this movie.’ Nagaalangan siya kasi nung una e. Sabi ko nga sa kanya, ‘Girl believe me, the bad girl is always the better role to portray.’ Sabi niya, ‘Really?’ So nung pinapanood ko 'yung rushes, kaya naman niya e… (Yes, of course. I am very open. That’s why I told Andi, ‘Girl, you will shine in this movie.’ Because she was worried before. I told her, ‘Girl, believe me, the bad girl is always the better role to portray.’ She said, ‘Really?’ So when I watched the rushes, I saw that she was able to do it.) When you see the movie, it’s different.”
