Anne Curtis has revealed that she might be a pre-school teacher if she weren’t an artist.

“Gusto kong maging pre-school teacher one day. I feel na, if ever, this is something na no matter where in the world I will be, malapit pa rin ako sa children (I want to be a pre-school teacher one day. I feel that, if ever, this is something that will ensure that I’ll be close to children no matter where in the world I will be.). That’s where my heart is,” the TV host-actress was quoted as saying in an article on PEP.ph.

Anne also shared that she has enrolled in an Education course at Open Universities Australia to have a shot at realizing her dream.

“I’m very, very happy that I was able to enroll,” she shared, adding that she might take more than the usual four years to finish her studies as she is also focused on her career.

“Alam mo ‘yon, alam kong hindi ko naman siya matatapos in four years, which is when you’re full-time [student]. But that’s the whole point na they encourage you to continue, na i-pursue 'yung studies mo kahit na in the long run, kahit ilang units lang ang kukunin mo,” she said. “Isa ‘yan sa mga pinapangarap ko—ang maka-graduate ng college (I know I won’t be able to finish it in four years, unlike a full-time student. But that’s the whole point, that they encourage you to continue, to pursue your studies even if it’s in the long run, even if you only take a few units. That’s one of my dreams—to graduate from college.).”

In the meantime, Anne hopes she will be able to hold another concert to follow the massive success of her first major show, Annebisyosa: No Other Concert, last 2012.

“I think I was very, very lucky na natanggap ng mga tao na hindi talaga ako singer (I think I was very, very lucky that people have accepted that I’m not really a singer.). I was given the opportunity to perform and to have my first major concert,” she said.
