Anne Curtis was reported to have slapped several personalities--including fellow Kapamilya ctor John Lloyd Cruz--in Privé Luxury Club on November 23, Saturday.
PEP.ph was able to interview JR Isaac, who was involved in the incident. He said that he and his friends were in the VIP section, with the other half cordoned off for a private party. All the guests in the loor shared one restroom, which was located near the bar. JR said that he and his friend were hanging out at the bar, when they suddenly heard Anne making a commotion.
"Then we heard a loud voice saying, 'Who's banging my door?' We didn't know who or where it was at first! Just loud, coming from behind us. When we turned around, we saw, stepping out of the toilet, Anne, very mad," JR was quoted as saying.
"Then all of a sudden, pak-pak. My left cheek. Then Leah was also slapped. Then JL was also slapped. This all happened so fast. Anne was making so much noise, shouting at JL [John Lloyd Cruz]: 'You are an addict!' Ang bilis, di ko na alam ang nangyayari. Basta wala akong narinig from JL, he behaved like a gentleman. Makikita mo talaga kung sino 'yung well-mannered pag may ganyan (Then all of a sudden, I was slapped on my left cheek. Then Leah was also slapped. Then JL was also slapped. This all happened so fast. Anne was making so much noise, shouting at JL: 'You are an addict!' Everything happened so fast, that I couldn't believe it was happening. I didn't hear anything frm JL, he behaved like a gentleman. You'd really know who's well-mannered when things like this happen)," he continued.
"Anne screamed, with finger pointing at Phoem the whole time, like she pointed it at JL. She had all this rage, she was agit [agitated]. She was drunk but, 'di ba, when you're drunk, you're wobbly? She was not wobbly. She was strong, parang she could hurt us all! Anne screamed, with finger pointing at Phoem Baranda, saying, 'I can buy you, your friends, and this club!' Commotion na. Pinaghiwalay na kami ng bouncers ng management (We were separated by the bouncers of the management)," JR added.
Anne herself didn't deny that she figured in the said incident, and she took to social media to apologize.
"For those who have read about the issue, yes, most of it is true. I admit to that & I have apologized to all parties included immediately... I choose to do this right away because I've always been an open book & I don't like to hide anything... " the actress posted, adding that another person caused all the ruckus.
"When I was told of my behavior AND the person who started all of this, due to this persons inappropriate behavior, apologized to me too... Just as I did. Which I accepted too. I choose not to go into detail because I'm not the type to ruin someone else's name... Now.. I had been on the super popular juice cleanse for 3 days & attended my best friends bachelorette that night, had one too many drinks.. which led to some of these unfortunate events. That's why they say 'Drink in moderation'. I will charge it to experience & a lesson learned. I'm sorry if I let any of my fans down.... As you all see, I'm just like any other person that makes mistakes in life..." Anne tweeted.
For his part, JR said that he has forgiven Anne, who apologized for her behavior through a text message.
"Never harbor ill feelings. It's bad for the skin," he said.
