Angelina Cruz turned 18 on September 24. The eldest daughter of Sunshine Cruz marked her birthday belatedly with an intimate dinner party on September 28 at Blackbird at the Nielson Tower in Makati City. "Just like that, may dalaga na akong anak," Sunshine wrote.
"It's very, very intimate lang with my very close friends. My family," Angelina had told PEP.ph and the press at the Instax Fujifilm event held before her dinner party.
"It's gonna be just an intimate dinner. That's it. Just a dinner. No program, so it's going to be simple lang.
"I really wanted intimacy lang with the people that I love... I wanted simple lang naman.
"My manager na nga wanted a big debut, but I pushed it to be intimate lang."
Among her guests at the plush dinner were Lorin Gutierrez, Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, and Leon Barretto.
She was elegantly dressed in a Mara Chua creation that, according to its designer, was inspired by the Great Gatsby.
