Angelica Panganiban, who is set to star in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry One More Try, considers her role in the upcoming movie her most daring one to date.

“Yes, so far [ito ang pinakamapangahas]. Siya 'yung pinakamalalim, ito yung pinakakritikal na gawin, masyadong maselan yung pelikula (Yes, so far, this is my most daring movie. This is the deepest, most critical role that I have portrayed. The movie is very sensitive),” she was quoted in an article on ABS-CBNNews.com as saying on the December 16 episode of The Buzz.

When asked if she tells her boyfriend, actor John Lloyd Cruz, about her love scenes, the actress answered that she finds it unnecessary to do so, adding that he does not get jealous of her leading men.

“Unang-una hindi ko naman po sa kanya sinasabi na, ‘Hey, today ito ang kukunan namin.’ Medyo nakaka-off naman ho ‘yon, ayaw mo naman may iniisip siya,” she was quoted as saying in an article on Push.com.ph. “Ayoko naman siyang bigyan ng ganun bilang nagtatrabaho din ho siya (First of all, I don’t tell him, ‘Hey, this is what we’ll be shooting today.’ It’ll throw him off, and you wouldn’t want him to think about that. I don’t want to give him these concerns since he’s also working.).”

Angelica also shared that she’s very proud of John Lloyd, whom she considers one of the most talented actors in this generation. “Nakaka-pressure, parang sa TV ko lang napapanood ‘yon. 'Pag may pelikula siya first day nakikipagsiksikan ako, nanonood talaga ako (There’s a lot of pressure, I used to see him only on TV. When he has a movie, I’d brave the crowds on the first day just to watch him),” she confessed.
