Angelica Panganiban laughed off a non-showbiz friend’s cryptic statement about “fbois” falling for “fgirls.”

More From FemaleNetwork.com

This has to do with an exchange of comments between Angelica and her friend following the Kapamilya actress' post summing up her thoughts about highs and lows she encountered for the past year.

Angelica's friend—with the Instagram handle @topscande—left this comment: “Para sa fbois na nakatagpo ng fgirls! Buti naman sila ang nagkaintindihan [smile emoji] di sila nagpaka hygienic! @iamangelicap”

Without naming names, Angelica gave a short reply punctuated with a laughing emoji: “magsama sama sila.

Whatever Angelica and her friend were talking about remained a private joke between them.

But in the caption of her Instagram post yesterday, January 1, Angelica made it clear that she has moved on from the painful trials that she went through in 2017.

The 31-year-old Kapamilya actress wrote: “Masakit ka sa ulo 2017. pero ito ang pinakamasayang taon ko. Sa pagtitiwala, pero binigo. Sa pagiyak, pero kinaya. Sa pag tawa ng walang humpay. Sa pagkakaron ng mga bagong kaibigan. Sa mga kaibigan na nabalik.

"Sa mga lugar na bagong naramdaman. Sa pagkakataon na sinubukan. Sa mga tagumpay na pinasalamatan. Thank you 2017.

“Exciting 365 days ahead happy new year guys!!!"

Note that Angelica once spoke about getting over a heartbreak in the October 2017 Paano Ba 'To? video blog of TV host Bianca Gonzalez.

She partly said, “Iniisip ko nun, ‘Hindi na talaga ako magpapakasal. Hindi na ako kikiligin ulit.’ Wala na. Wala nang hope. Feeling ko noon, siya na lang mamahalin ko, kahit hindi niya ako mahalin pabalik.
