Angelica Panganiban has spoken up about her boyfriend John Lloyd Cruz’s alleged confrontation with her Apoy Sa Dagat co-star Diether Ocampo, who reportedly threw a vase at her while shooting one scene despite it not being a part of the script.

Rumor has it that Angelica called John Lloyd right after shooting that particular scene, and he immediately came to the set and challenged Diether to a fight. The issue reportedly stopped only when the show’s executive producer said, “Not on my set.”

In an interview aired on the May 20 episode of the TV5 show Aksyon, the actress said that no confrontation actually took place.

“Hindi, hindi naman naghamon. Wala namang ganung pangyayari at alam naman ng lahat 'yun. Nagpunta siya ng set para tingnan kung ano ang nangyari sa akin (No, he didn’t challenge anyone. Nothing like that happened, and everyone knows that. He just went to the set to see what happened to me),” Angelica was quoted as saying in an article on PEP.ph.

Angelica also denied the rumor that John Lloyd is seeing another woman.

“Common sense 'yun. Hindi na 'yun dapat tinatanong kasi hindi naman tamang gawin 'yun ng isang normal na tao, kung nasa tamang pag-iisip siya (That’s just common sense. People shouldn’t be asking that because it’s not proper for a normal person who’s in the right frame of mind to do that),” she had said.

“Parang hindi naman maganda na kami pa, tapos may nililigawan siyang iba. Parang hindi naman proper yun (It doesn’t seem right for him to court someone else while we’re still together. It’s not proper.),” she had added about the issue on an episode of the TV5 show Ang Latest.
