Angelica Panganiban welcomed her beautiful baby girl Amila Sabine in September this year, and she’s been sharing her motherhood journey online. In her latest vlog, the actress opened up about her struggles with breastfeeding and taking care of a newborn child.
“Puyat na ako since six years old ako pero iba pala yung puyat kapag may inaalagaan kang bata, kapag mayroon kang ganoon kalaking responsibilidad,” the new mom admits, confessing that breastfeeding is even more difficult than going into labor. “Yung labor, alam mong may katapusan, alam mo in 24 hours tapos ka na. Pero yung breastfeeding, ilang taon to? Ilang taon yung commitment na gagawin mo?"
No matter how challenging, it’s something that Angelica is willing to endure for her little one. “Yung discipline, yung commitment, [at] yung pain na titiisin mo para lang mapakain yung anak mo,” she says. “Sobrang saludo ako talaga sa lahat ng mga [breastfeeding] moms dahil nakakabilib yung ginagawa niyo.”
