Kathy Yamzon, the secretary general of the political party Bayan Muna in the National Capital Region (NCR) chapter, shared a Facebook post showing actress Angel Locsin visiting an evacuation center in Iligan City. The evacuees had fled from Marawi, the site of an ongoing fight between government forces and members of a local terrorist group.
The Inquirer states that Angel is the aunt of lawyer and human rights activist Neri Colmenares, a representative of Bayan Muna. Her family considers him her cousin, though.
PEP notes that Twitter user @Puretuts also shared a video clip of Angel's evacuation center visit.
