Actress Angel Locsin revealed that she has no plans of settling down just yet in an interview with broadcaster Korina Sanchez on radio station dzMM, ABS-CBNNews.com reports. The star, who is exclusively dating Azkals player Phil Younghusband, laughed as she said, "Masyado pa po siyang young para maging husband. (He's too young to be a husband.)"
"Right now, we’re just enjoying [what we have]," she added. "Ganun lang, kinikilala ang isa’t isa. (That's it; we're just getting to know each other.)"
While the two of them still don't have a formal arrangement, Angel said what they had was "more mature than a mutual understanding."
“Mahirap lang kasi na ‘yung lagi siyang umaalis ng bansa, ako naman po busy (It's just difficult since he leaves the country a lot, and I'm busy)," she told Korina. "Parang mahirap na baka magkasumbatan pa so ganitong setup muna, mas nagwo-work sa amin. For us mas better kasi ‘yung less hassle, walang masyadong away. (It's hard if we end up bickering about that, so this kind of setup works for us right now. For us, this is better because there's less hassle and hardly any arguments.)”
Angel said she was currently focused on being a breadwinner. When the time comes for the wedding bells to ring, though, she said, "Yung tirahan ko in the future, dapat ‘yung magiging asawa ko ang magbigay nun sa akin. (My future husband should give me my future home.)"
But in the end, she said, "Basta po aalagaan ako at saka hindi sinungaling, okay na po ‘yun sa akin. (As long as he'll take care of me and won't tell lies, I'm already okay with that.)"
