Andi Eigenmann has denied the rumors that she and her ex-boyfriend Jake Ejercito have gotten back together after their messy breakup late last year.

“Hindi po totoo yun,” she was quoted as saying in an article on PEP.ph. “Nagulat nga ako na people are saying it (That’s not true. I was shocked when I heard that people are saying it.). But sad to say, it’s not true.”

“Although, for me, I’m not shy to express my feelings,” she said. “I’m not shy to say that I still love the person. But I don’t think na… sino ba siya para hayaan ko ang sarili ko na to make a fool out of myself? Hindi na ako e-effort kasi wala na kong kailangang gawin pa. Kung ayaw niya, ayaw niya (Why should I make a fool out of myself for him? I’m not exerting any more effort because I don’t have to do anything else. If he doesn’t want to get back together, then that’s that.).”

Andi also admitted that she has not yet gotten over Jake. “I didn’t expect that and I’m not saying I’m over him,” she said. “Siyempre, I still love the person. But in all honesty, at this point in my life, I know I broke up with someone that I really love. It’s just a sad thing.”

She also said that she isn’t looking to enter a new relationship at the moment. “Wala naman po akong other suitors,” she said. “Pero kung meron, I don’t think that would be wrong kahit alam kong mamasamain ng iba diyan (I don’t have other suitors. But if there were any, I don’t think that would be wrong even if I know that people will view that negatively)… I don’t think I’m ready for that. I just wanna have fun… I’m definitely not ready to fall in love again.”
