Actress Andi Eigenmann has turned to vlogging to chronicle her life as a mom in the town she now calls home.
The mom of two shared her first-ever vlog on Youtube on December 30, 2019, showing raw clips of herself and daughters Ellie, 8, and Lilo, 5 months old, with partner Philmar Alipayo. It garnered over a million views in three days.
The 14-minute video starts off with their plane ride from Manila, where they spent Christmas eve. Though tired (Andi says Philmar just spent daddy duties the night before), they were all obviously giddy over the prospect of going back to Siargao.
“We’re so happy to be home for Christmas!” Andi exclaims. “This is the land of the cocos,” she adds, as Philmar chimes in “No more spaceship,” and Ellie says, “No more buildings!”
“Back to our island life!”
The video shows their little family enjoying the simple things island life has to offer: tricycle rides, harvesting papaya from the backyard, a walk to the beach.
At one point they even happily announced that there was a power interruption (“It’s brownout!”) so they decided to pay a visit to the site where their house is currently being built.
Andi gave a quick tour of the two-storey open layout home, which features a spacious porch overlooking the main road.
“So this is the first part of our house-slash-B&B (bed and breakfast),” Andi narrates. She also points to a big area which will become their backyard. “I’m so happy, worked so hard for this,” she adds.
