The last time we saw Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay together was the 2014 runaway hit, English Only, Please. The film didn't just cement Jennylyn's rom-com appeal; it also made Dan Villegas a household name in the genre.
Now, the trio are officially back with a new movie entitled All Of You. The clip, which runs at a minute-and-a-half, doesn't give too much away, but we do know that their characters will meet through online dating. It's enough to get us excited for their onscreen chemistry again.
Even better, the film is set in Taiwan, and from the looks of it, we can only guess at this point it's not the usual bustling Taipei City. Instead, the film seems to go beyond the skyscrapers and into the old town of Jiufen. In the trailer, we can already see Juifen's narrow and winding alleyways, filled with old-school teahouses and street-food stands.
All Of You is part of the Metro Manila Film Festival, and will hit theaters on December 25. The film initially starred Jennylyn and her former leading man, Jericho Rosales, but he had to back out due to scheduling conflicts.
