Yesterday, January 16th, Alex Gonzaga went viral after revealing her engagement with long-time boyfriend Mikee Morada. It also happened to be the actress' birthday, which served as the perfect time to make the announcement. Although she didn't explicitly announce her engagement, she posted a photo of herself and Mikee, where she is seen flashing a diamond ring. What confirmed the engagement hint was sister Toni Gonzaga's Instagram post congratulating the two, as well as various Instagram posts by their close friends who celebrated Alex's birthday with the rest of her family.

Today, Alex finally posted the video she promised in her birthday post's caption, and it features footage of the exact moment Mikee proposed to her. The video mainly documents her recent trip to Hong Kong with her family, which was also her first trip abroad with Mikee. "Pinayagan na po ako ni Mommy Pinty na makapag-abroad," she exclaims while aboard the airplane en route to Hong Kong. They left on Christmas day.

The rest of the video features Alex's typical funny antics, but fast forward to December 27, things take a turn for the unexpected and unforgettable. Alex, Mikee, and her family were walking along 1881 Heritage, a popular hotel in Kowloon, when Mommy Pinty invites Alex to walk in the scenic garden. Alex and Mikee walk under the mooonlight until Mikee falls on one knee. "Anong tatanungin mo?" Alex teased as she couldn't contain her excitement. "Will you marry me," Mikee finally said. Of course, nothing but a big "Yes!" came from Alex, who couldn't help but shed some tears. "Finally natanong na niya," she said in another footage after the proposal. "I'm no longer a single girl!"

Congratulations to Alex and Mikee!
