Things are looking good for Pambansang Bae Alden Richards, as it is now confirmed that he will be holding a solo concert this year entitled UpSurge.

According to GMA Network, the much-anticipated concert will be handled by Happy Events, with GB Sampedro as their stage director and Marvin Querido as their musical director. It will be held on May 27 at the Kia Theatre but ticket prices as well as guest appearances are yet to be announced.

The same month last year, Alden also had a solo concert at the Ynares Center in Antipolo dubbed Aldenvasion.

There's no confirmation yet if the other half of AlDub, Maine Mendoza, will be guesting at the concert, but we’re hoping she does show up to up the kilig factor their fans will go crazy over.

Meeting you was fate; it was wonderful, it was miraculous, it was extraordinary and indeed sweet serendipity. For some, it was nothing but luck and plain coincidence; but for me it was something revelatory about the notion that miracles like this do exist.
