Congrats, Aiza and Liza!
Just last week, Aiza Seuguerra surprised her girlfriend, Liza Diño, by popping THE question during their performance at UP Diliman's Hermogenes Ylagan Theater.
In her interview with Buzz ng Bayan, Aiza shares that she has been planning to stage the proposal since November.
“Matagal ko naman nang iniisip, pero my plan started last November... I asked 'yung isang friend namin na playwright, si George [de Jesus], if he can lend us his script, 'yun ngang Kung Paano Maghiwalay. Tapos, sabi ko, 'I’m planning to have a proposal.' And then, he got excited and sabi niya, 'Sige, sige, babaguhin ko ang dulong part para maipasok natin ang proposal.' So, 'yun na... (I've been thinking about this for a long time, but my plan started last November... I asked our friend, who's a playwright, George, if he can lend us his script--Kung Paano Maghiwalay. And then I told him, I’m planning to have a proposal.' And then, he got excited and said, 'Sure, sure, I'll change the script so we could include the proposal at the end.' So, there...)” Aiza was quoted by PEP.ph as saying.
Liza, on the other hand, says she didn't have any idea that Aiza was already cooking up something behind the scenes.
“Grabe, wala akong kaalam-alam! (I had no idea!) It was so well-planned. Everybody was in it. Talagang she made it a point to make it like official,” she said in the interview.
The two might tie the knot in the States, since Liza said she's a permanent resident in Los Angeles, California. And while they haven't set a date yet for the wedding, it seems that they're really excited to exchange vows.
“For me, I belong to her, we belong to each other. So, I’m happy. I’m happy that we’re finally going towards that direction that we can seal this relationship,” Liza shared.
