British singer Adele has been conquering charts all over the world with her impressive vocals and heartwrenching songs, and now her 2011 album, 21, has been certified the no. 1 best-selling album in UK in the current century. Reuters.com reports that the Official Charts Company has confirmd that 21 has sold more than 3.4 million copies in Britain thus surpassing singer Amy Winehouse's 3.3 million copies sold for her 2006 record, Back To Black.
The 23-year-old artist's album has also made it big in the US market, where it has already sold more than 4.4 million copies, according to Billboard.com.

"ROLLING IN THE DEEP"
This song is the first single from 21, and it was released in November 2010. Billboard.com reports that, since then, it has sold over 5.5 million downloads.
"SOMEONE LIKE YOU"
The music video for this song might be simple, but it's perfect for the emotional lyrics that strike a chord in the heart. It's the second song released as a single from 21, and its power to touch listeners has been noted far and wide--so much so that Saturday Night Live shot a skit about its ability to make people cry.
"SET FIRE TO THE RAIN"
This is the most recent single from 21. Even without a music video currently out, a YouTube upload of the audio has already passed 73 million views.
"TURNING TABLES"
This song became more popular after Gwyneth Paltrow sang a version of it in the second season of Glee. It reached no. 63 on the Billboard Hot 100.
"RUMOUR HAS IT"
This song has already topped the US adult alternative Triple A chart for several weeks. A recent episode of Glee also featured Naya Rivera (Santana), Amber Riley (Mercedes), and more Gleeks performing a mashup of "Rumour Has It" and "Someone Like You," which introduced the song to more mainstream audiences.
